How does incorporating gut instinct and intuition reorient our assumptions about what it takes to grow and succeed?
In our culture, the pursuit of growth, achievement, results, and success employ many things. But, I would assert the automatic cultural assumption would be that they usually include:
I believe those are normally an important part of the mix, but, they are an incomplete package. And, they can be tragically incomplete.
Without a healthy dose of emotional intelligence and body intelligence (as manifested through gut instinct and intuition), you are going into it with some of the most critical contributors to success absent.

· First, it greatly increases your odds of success in whatever venture you are applying it to. Professor John Mihalasky of the New Jersey Institute of Technology conducted intuition tests on a group of CEO’s. He discovered that:
o 81% of CEO’s with HIGH intuition scores doubled their businesses in 5 years.
o 25% of CEO’s with LOW intuition scores managed to double their businesses in 5 years.
Healthy intuition levels more than tripled the rate of success, as measured.
· Second, it can light the pathway to what is most important for you. It can instruct you as to your passion, your true vision, and the authentic legacy you desire to create.
o Intuition can speak to the heart of who you are and desire to be in the world, and then can be instructive as to how to navigate your life such that you stay on that path, rather than always defaulting to the path that “makes the most sense” rationally.
